Hi Jennifer! As others have said, entry to all Great Parks requires a motor vehicle permit. Annual permits are $10 for Hamilton County residents and $15 for all other visitors. Daily permits are $5 for residents and $8 for all other visitors. For more information about motor vehicle permits, please visit greatparks.org/shop/motor-vehicle-permit/annual-motor-vehicle-permit The children's garden, Highfield Discovery Garden, has additional admission of $5 per person. It has a 3$ entrance fee, but the ten dollar pass is well worth the money.
You must purchase a Hamilton County park sticker to enter ($10 for residents, $14 for out of county). All of the area is free with that sticker and will get you into all other Hamilton County parks, as well. The Highland children's garden within Glenwood Gardens, is additional and is $5 per person.
For the most part there is areas you pay.
