My husband and I wanted to join today and pay for the year and membership fee upfront. We were told the only way we could pay was by monthly withdrawals from our checking account!!?? Seriously??!! Is this true? We still want to join. Thanks.

Go get a debit card from WalMart and deposit the money on the card so if u want to get out of the contract one day u don't have to worry about them drawing out of your account.

Yes that is true. Some franchises run an occasional promotion where you can buy a membership for the year, but don't hold your breath.
