I'm not sure. There is the Rankin House to visit in Ripley. John Rankin was very helpful in helping the slaves as they crossed the Ohio River for freedom.
Don't forget John Parker he was formerly enslaved and worked with him. His house is on front or 3rd street read his book. Found at book store. Past curator of freedom center keep and treasure the center i believe in the mission so much i plan to volunteer. T Compton
He used to drink beer and shoot pool with the slaves. You must bring a can in his spirit to be welcomed
Yes, you can visit the Rankin House, and also the John Parker House. He was an escaped slave who would help slaves get across the Ohio River to the Rankin House. Ripley has a lot to see.
