My husband & I are heading towards Louisiana, down Interstate 81 in Sept. for "Cruising the Coast" car event. 1) How far off 81 is Avalon? 2) I am a female with an ostomy & wonder if you allow me to wear my bathing suit bottom in the pool?

Yes, we do make an exception to the "have to be nude in the pool" for cases such as this. We are about 45 minutes off I-81, but very easy to find. I always recommend that people look up directions on their smart phone (if you have one), but take a screen shot of all the steps after 522 because you may lose your signal once you enter West Virginia.

25 - 30 miles off 81. I believe the pools and hot tubs are the 2 places you are required to be nude. I would call them and ask, very nice people there. Might make an exception. Good luck and hope you enjoy your visit to Avalon.
