I got mine as a package from from my PBS Station. It was well worth it. I helped my community, rode the train and took a different couple for each Train. Stayed at the local B&B and made memories. This is the best way to get your tickets. 🤠

We paid $45 each as seniors. Check their web site for adults and children. As the train pulls out of the station you want to be sitting on the left side. I wouldn't recommend going during the Fall color season as the train is full then. I highly recommend the Koolwink Motel in town. It's clean and inexpensive.

There are a few hotels in town just minutes away and yes costs vary but I think it reasonable for the views and eagle sightings. They even have a nest visable from the train.

The cost varies from dining cars and coach cars, seniors have a different rate and so do kids. It's best to look on the website. It is spelled out clearly. As for lodging, I couldn't tell you for certain but you may be able to find a small inn or hotel within short distance.
