This place does in fact take appliances, they only "run off" volunteers that are not productive or have been reported by people who come in. They do not tolerate any type of disrespect toward outside people, and they expect all volunteers to stay busy while they are there. The man who runs the place is very active all day, and honestly does not need help but he allows people to volunteer anyways. Appliances are recycled around the back of the building, the side which has the library. There is a very large metal dumpster there. You can set the appliances on the side, but it is preferred to be inside the dumpster if it is possible for you to do
I don't think this location takes appliances of any kind. They run off volleenteers and I ha e never seen a cash transaction done. They do have trades of other items. As they say.. one man's trash is another's treasure
