Renewal notices are sent out monthly during the month prior to the vehicle expiration. However, there are a couple of exceptions... in January and July, statutory changes cause those notices to be sent out early in the month of expiration. Please also keep in mind that renewal notices are sent out as a courtesy (they are not required by statute), and they sometimes get lost in the mail. Renewals must be paid by the end the grace period month following the due date, whether a notice is received or not - please mark your calendars accordingly to ensure no late fees are incurred.
