Hands down, the best vehicle licensing experience I’ve ever had. Easy check in at the kiosk, waited for maybe 30 seconds before my number was called, then worked with my man Evan who was delightful, organized, and efficient. In and out with plates and a title in 20 min. Bananas that I’m writing a 5 star review for anything having to do with a government entity.

I needed a simple boat registration. Walked into this office, I was the only customer but the gal behind the window thought it more important to continue her loooong conversation with her coworker than to even acknowledge my presence. Eventually she let me state why I was bothering her and then she told I needed an inspection that upon trailering the boat a considerable distance for inspection learned from the inspector and the licensing people at that site that no inspection required. Sheesh…..

Yes. Colorado law requires that if you drive a vehicle on public roads, it must be insured. Insurance companies are required to be licensed or authorized to sell insurance in Colorado. Acceptable forms of proof of insurance on the specific vehicle to be registered (must display Vehicle Identification Number) can include, but are not limited to: paper card, email printout, computer information, visible on the phone or other device, faxed copy (i.e., "any legible visible form"). Any insurance company that writes vehicle liability policies in Colorado is required to report new policyholders and canceled policies at least monthly to the provider which is updated on your vehicle record.
