There at that Urgent Care, I can tell you that I believe they are overwhelmed, as all medical agencies! But U can trust the staff there is doing their Best! It's on the Labs to get the test done and give them the information! I understand your frustrations, alot of family's are having the same problem, I am sure, but be patient with them, they seemed to really care and want to make sure you get the correct information! I had COVID and they were so good to me and always concerned and got me through it without having to go to the hospital; where I think that the risk are minimized at the Oak Park Urgent Care! I understand that we did not do a quick test, but we were told that the result will be from 24 to 48 hours, and I understand everything, but more than 48 hours have passed and I did not get the results
If they were given rapid exam they would get results within minutes like I did. However, if they were given the more in-depth test that is sent out to a Lab it can take up to 48 hours and an email with results is sent to you. I would call urgent care center.
