No appts needed. BUT a piece of advice: Any quick lube, 10 min oil change, lube express etc DO NOT HAVE TO BE ASE CERTIFIED!! Which means any old Tom, Dick Harry or Marry can work on your vehicle without having any sort of training or schooling! Just as an experience I've had specifically with Walmart Tire Lube Express, I went in for an oil change and the "mechanic" stripped the oil pan drain bolt, left it, never said anything and as I drove away my oil pressure dropped and had a massive puddle following! Needless to say Walmart tried to claim I had some how caused this and wouldn't own up to it! Mind you I had only backed out of their parking lot and got to the M89 light, but I caused it! They offered a free oil change in future for the "inconvenience"!
Be careful, best to know who is working on your vehicles. :)
No, but be prepared to wait quite a while.
Something similar happened to my sister.
