There are many within the va system in this area, however as a vet that has had heart problems for many years now and has had a pacemaker with a defibrillator implanted along with 3 cardiac stents I can honestly say that I can advise you to either go to the Milwaukee va hospital or seek out a civilian caregiver Loyola university medical center on roosevelt next to Hines va hospital and Lutheran general on Dempster road are the best in this area. If you are a veteran and want to be actually cared for then ask about the veterans choice program. I wish you all the best and please think twice about the veterans Choice program.
