Joshua Tree National Park has an entry fee. Entry fee is $30 valid for 6 days. You can also get a Annual Pass for $80 per year to gain access to all the national parks and monuments.

Yes, you must pay to enter. Choose whichever areas of the massive park that you prefer, and walk wherever you like within the boundaries. Solo or otherwise. Enjoy your time there, definitely a must see once in a lifetime.

You can walk wherever you want, unless posted otherwise. Cost of entry is $25 per vehicle. Or free with America the beautiful interagency pass.
