We were there a couple of weeks ago and I took a small bag in without any issues. I'm not sure if there is a size limit, but I would think letting them know it's a camera would be ok.
They might have to search the bag but yes you can bring it in because they are not responsible if it is stolen from vehicle or inside the loacation itself

From what I recall yes. We've been there a few times and have had purses/bags with small children. Would still call them to confirm security hasn't changed.
