Could two young adults have fun here or would we feel out of place?

As a man in my 30's I believe I had more fun than my kids!

I would say you'll have fun, just wear closed toe shoes so you can enjoy all the activities

My husband and I went by ourselves before we had children and had a blast. I did not feel out of place at all. They do have several exhibits that are interesting to people of all ages.

Depends on the age really. But while we were present with our toddler there were a lot of people age 10-16. And even parents participating. It's actually pretty fun. I don't see why they would be "out of place". :)

I say yes at the age of 48

My husband and I enjoyed it and we're in our 50s. You can also leave and come back on the same day.

Grandparents. Took our kids. Love it! Had a great time.
