Normally Fridays and Saturday's are the 5 for $5

The color varies from week to week. The 5 for $5 is always the same color as that week's 1/2 off tag sale. If you have fewer than 5, each item will be 50% off. If you have 8 (for example), 5 will be the 5/$5 deal, and the other 3 will be 50%. All Oakland and Macomb County stores that I've visited have this sale on both Friday and Saturday.
Depends on the store, though stores in the Oakland and Macomb counties go by the same color every week and usually on Saturdays. Also, each store does its own additional sales, e.g., add another color that's 5 for $5.
Friday and Saturday both and it is the half off color of the week.
