If you want to donate clothes, best put them in a red box. And, if you wouldn't wear what you want to donate toss 'em or use it for a rag. Now, I do this, cuz I'm nuts & like to drive myself nuttier, you really don't need to wash them before you donate them, cuz it is, at least the SA's policy to wash all clothes et al before the put them to sale. It's not that they don't trust us, but, they don't trust us. 1. They want gently worn items 2. People sneak in stuff that a corps wouldn't be caught dead in & so 3. Better be safe than sorry, like I said they wash all clothing & the like. (Their washers are industrial.…. as opposed to wershin' down @ the ol crik on one of dem fancy wersh boards) & they are huge!
