Poisoning is difficult to tell what kind of poison was used. I would recommend that you report it to the police and file a report. The humane society has been involved in helping stop the cruelty to animals. It's sad that people are not realizing that these animals are our family. In my opinion the most common poisoning is antifreeze. I know the cure for humans but I don't know about dogs. Maybe charcoal pills could absorb the poison but ask a vet because I am not a vet.

Animal Crackers is a non profit affordable vet and they do an excellent job. They have saved 3 puppies I know of from pravo for under $500 to be on an iv for a week or more.

I would take your puppy to see a vet, for a second Opinon! Poisoning can kill either slowly or fast! Like Mr. Bowles says, I am also not a vet.
