It depends on the the event being hosted. It can accommodate a little over 18000 hockey fans and almost 20000 basketball fans. There is also a smaller stage (I believe a level below) where they host smaller concerts or graduations. This stage can hold up to 5,600 people. Our tour guide told us they sometimes use both stages at once but you would never know it.
