Depends on your coach. They can start at $20 and up for 30 minutes. They go year round.
My daughter also takes lessons from Lauren Bacon. She is a great coach and very reasonably priced. The ice rink will be shutting down a few months this summer for some maintenance (July and August mostly) but other than that we do lessons most of the year.
Private lesson prices vary by coach. If you go in to the County Ice Rink, there is a board right inside the door that has all the coaches pictures, names and their contact information. It also gives a description of their qualifications. You can choose the coach that you think will be best for your son. My daughter takes lessons from Lauren Bacon, but there are other great coaches there too.
