How do I go about community service hours? Does the place need to be non profit? Is it equivalent to 10$ an hr?

Hopefully you've gotten your community service done by now. But if not the way you get started is by going to united way in Provo and ask for info. Or their website and download instructions and the page to log your hours. You'll find that here: https://www.unitedwayuc.org/get-involved/court-appointed-service In Orem I believe you can work at the "Restore." Depends on your charges. It's best to call ahead and find out what you need to bring with you. You may try calling the city sanitation to see if they will accept court appointed community service volunteers for helping cleaning of the city. Like picking up litter. A food pantry like Community Action or soup kitchens like Food & Care Coalition usually have a need for volunteer work. Bike collective is another place to check into. There is one in Provo. Good luck!
