Dear My Name, No Kill is a confusing phrase. It means that only 10% of their animals are euthanized. We try very hard to find homes for as many animals as possible. There are always dogs that are to dangerous to release, but these are few. We find homes for as many cats too as possible. They are vaccinated, spayed, neutered and put up for adoption. We have been offering these cats as free adoptions. Our feral (wild) cats don't have many options. We have started offering them as working barn cats after S/N, but not many takers. Our intake of all animals last year was 4182 animals. Last I checked it's a kill shelter. It hasn't reached no kill yet. Last I heard people were pressing for SUVAS to do more to become no kill.
