Board train for NY Penn station from woodbridge, Rahway or Metropark. Which ever is near to you. Get down at NY Penn station which is at 33rd street. U can walk down from 33rd street or take N, R, D or F trains to Times square.
Take the northbound NJ Transit New Jersey Coast line at Woodbridge station and get-off at !ew York Penn Station
Woodbridge and Metropark are completely different stations on different lines, but both will get you to NY Penn.
