No..just the oil
Upon inquiring with the manager, I was told that all dosas are cooked with ghee unless specifically requested otherwise.
Dont think dosas need ghee !!they need gingelly oil!!
Dosa i had was cooked using oil.
The one I tried is cooked with Oil. If anyone is Lactose tolerant u shud probably check at the counter first.
Dosas can be cooked in butter as well. They are called "benne dosas" or butter dosa. These taste better when made with homemade butter. However, Ammas kitchen doesn't seem to serve those.
No I believe the dosas are cooked in oil not butter or ghee because those dosas taste very different.

Not sure, but I feel like the dosas taste like they were cooked with ghee (clarified butter).
