They have these little things that kind of resemble a walker to help keep balance while you're on your skates
I don't know if they offer teaching but you can walk out on the rink, in shoes, and help them around.
Definitely have starter/beginner skates. My 3 year old loves both kinds and doesnt always want me to help her lol.
