The town of Tuckerton itself is pretty small you can walk through it there's a lake and a few small shops but nothing like Smithville if that's what you're looking for but the Tuckerton Emporium is there and that's got a lot of shops in one building.. there's also a restaurant right next to the seaport and the only other restaurant in walking distance is the diner
It's a place better for walks than most other places in the area, but a visit to a city with a respectable public transport system will be m7ch better.
Pack up the family And take a ride.. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It does have small shops And small museums
You can enjoy downtown Tuckerton but the seaport is definitely worth your time to visit. Tuckerton seaport is a great time!
Little shops inside the town, nice to walk but nothing like smithville. On lbi there is bay village I believe it is called in beach haven which has lots of shops.
Just to add, Stewart's rootbeer car hop & restaurant is right next to ti the Seaport
