Can't make an online appointment without these; what is the "country code ", and what is my "mobile #", where do I find this ?? Why should this be so confusing ??

The country code is the +1 that is in the box by default. Mobile number is your cell phone number. We use this phone number to text you your appointment confirmation and reminder. If you don't have a cell phone just type "NA" in the box for mobile number. If you don't provide your cell phone number, be sure to include your email address so you can get your appointment confirmation that way instead.
