My pups anal glands are swollen and red. It does not seem to bother him too much. I’m sure it’s a food allergy as I changed foods last month. Is this something I can give it a minute, or do I need to call on a Sunday?

This is something that can wait until Monday morning as we are only available for emergencies. You can give a little Aspirin and ice the area. Sometimes a little hydrocortisone cream helps too.

I would call I know that in humans there throat can swell as well depends on how severe the reaction is
