How can you deny someone comp and collision on a vehicle because of a hurricane coming through when clearly the vehicle was just purchased and I'm already with your insurance company with another vehicle....not cool!

Same issue and all I'm trying do is make a payment and there stating bc its one day behind I will have to wait for restrictions to be lifted. so mean time I'm faceing cancellation bc of the dumb hurricane amazing...

I sell Discovery and other carriers and they all did the same. I agree for a new purchase they should allow but they cut everything off to avoid losing money.. With one of my carriers i couldn't add a vehicle with liability only. Hopefully by tomorrow restrictions will be lifted in counties with no active flooding.
