What do I need to do to get a place like assisted living I'm disabled and I don't believe I belong in society on my own I don't do very well with financial thing and I have no idea how to do this I feel like I need to be in assisted living on ssi

I have no payee and I am my own person on ssi since I was 19 was on it as a child but was cut off temporarily due to my father made to much at the time of me until I turned 19 and he passed away in 04 I don't know what to do I am living in mattoon Charleston area I just want to get better and my life back together I can't do it alone right now

I would check with your payee, if you have one. If not, And if your local in the charleston or mattoon area. You should reach out to life links. I know that we have assisted living centers locally that are in almost like a college dorm type seeting. I cannot think of the name at this moment but I know one in charleston is located on the corner of 18th and Madison Ave. Good luck and God Bless
