The question was asking if a single man can get financial assistance aka TANF and not asking anything about your race and no even if you don’t qualify the worst that can happen is that if you lied on your application you may have to pay back the money that was given and not be able to qualify for those government benefits under that identity for the rest of your life. To qualify for TANF, Tajia is right you do need to show that you are taking care for a child or otherwise have a family of two
