Tandy has a fabulous variety of leather in size, thickness and color. Go to the store. The nice folks there will help with all your needs
Please be aware that none of our responses are from Tandy. However, Tandy can get you any leather from saddle skirts on down (pretty much amy thickness you might require) you will want to go in and look at it though.
From my experience most of the colored leather are generally in the 4.5oz to 5.5oz thickness, while the Natural Veg-tan leathers come in a wider selection of thickness. Ranging from 3.5oz to 10oz. But as stated it's best to stop in the store and see what they have first hand. Also, most of the pieces are in the full sode range, but they do have smaller squares available in n a few colors.
