I took the first review down (July 2022) because I was asked to and offered payment. They never sent it. So I am reposting… First, working with our sales agent was excellent. In fact, the young lady who helped us enter a contract with Best Choice roofing was great, responsive and attentive. Ultimately, the roofer and their installation team did an outstanding job. This, however, comes between all the frustrating moments that followed my interactions with this company. 1. Once the contract was signed, and the first check received to begin the job - communication began becoming a nightmare. Over a week passed, and I had to call myself to initiate first contact (leaving messages). There was no welcome, no confirmation of payment received or followup concerning what to expect next. Communication with this company would always be initiated by me. Make sure you get a NAME of the person in the office you will be working with IN ADVANCE if you choose this company. Talk to them BEFORE signing anything to figure out their communication process with you. 2. The number I was given to contact Best Choice roofing simply rang and rang and rang. I was forced to leave messages. Eventually, I had to reach out to my sales agent for a number to reach someone. Let’s just say, I had three different numbers to call, two of which were cell phones. I felt as if I was dealing with a startup business with no staff. Eventually, I spoke with someone who did help ease my frustration. But it left me with no confidence at nearly two weeks into paying this company the first check. 3. When I did get a phone call (not initiated by my own actions), it was the accountant. This person was calling at 7:30 I’m the morning! WHO DOES THAT? Crazy. Even workdays and most stores do not open until after 8 or 9am? I was still up getting dressed one morning and dude was handling business like it was nothing! As odd as that was, it was only the second time out of working with company that someone seemed to be professional and approaching this job like a business. He was calling to collect a payment. (This company SERIOUSLY needs a strong, cohesive administrative staff with a process for handling and responding to clients). 4. TODAY, I received an early bird call from their accountant. Same time… 7:30am ish! They were looking for that final check from my insurance company. That job was finished almost three weeks ago. There was no phone call from the company itself, no further communication to convey what to expect next, nothing. I mean NOTHING. GHOST TOWN. UNTIL, they were looking for the money. I have had the check for over a week. Decided to just let them call me this time. It’s not my responsibility to chase them down and ask, “When are you planning to collect your payment?” People always check on their money… eventually. And I asked if they could come and pick up the STUFF they left behind before I hand it over. That dump truck and some materials (small amount) sat in my parking lot for several days after the job completed while my homeowners association pitched a fit. Best Choice roofing did not care. After promise after promise was made over the course of about four days for pickups (including a weekend and a tow truck break down)… they moved it. But I had to follow up and notify them that no one came to actually get it moved at least three times. To this day, I still have a few of their materials that we had to bring into the garage. They never picked them up. Petty of me to insist… but on the contract it was clear that anything left behind was theirs. I would hate to receive an invoice weeks from now for taking material I don’t own. Again, the roof work and the team that worked on it were great! The sales agent was wonderful. The finished product is stellar. But I tell you, I WOULD NEVER recommend a company with such questionable customer service practices. Frustrating. Unprofessional. It could make or break your experience. This whole experience left me feeling ignored. Choose wisely.

Hire a lawyer ! Never pay full bill . Good luck getting someone to call you . They are a terrible company !
