Do have the title in hand just go up there pulling number and expect to be there for two or three hours. If you got it from a dealer it'll be several weeks usually before your paperwork is up there and you're able to go license it they should have given you a 40-day sticker at the dealership
If purchased at a dealership you'll be notified by mail when to go to the dmv. Never go on a Monday or Friday and early afternoon is best.
