The place is a joke. Numbers were all taken for the day by 1130AM and the place looked like a free-for-all. I went in for a trip permit and have no interest in windows labeled Title or Renewal. Get real flathead county

I called right at 8am which is when they open. I was placed on hold for seven minutes and then hung up on due to a high number of calls. When your hold tone repeats “your call is important to us please wait” and then hangs up without me talking to anyone it leaves a bit of a sour taste.

“Your call is very important to us”. Is it? Because I have no problem waiting on hold whatsoever. I know this location is incredibly busy, and it’s not their fault that the city hasn’t bothered to keep up with infrastructure. However, after roughly 7.5 minutes, an automated message comes on saying “we are experiencing higher than normal call volume. You can do everything you need on our website. Try again later.” That is INFURIATING, mostly because no Karen, I can’t do everything on the website. You’ve had my registration application since the 22nd and the website still just says received.

Just sat on hold for 9 minutes, then a recording came on, gave me their website and hung up. I understand they are very busy, but going to the DMV is hardly any better, 2 hour wait and then the person at the window cannot answer a simple Trust question, "we'll have _______ call you" still waiting.

No
🤷
Through the East side
Federal holiday. Most likely closed.
You would probably need to take the death certificate and something showing that you have authority as executor, along with current registration, title, and your ID. If you have a buyer, they can go with you to transfer at the same time, otherwise you can transfer into your name first and then sell from there. There's a title/transfer fee. Get your number early, but the DMV people are super helpful and competent when you eventually get to talk to them.
You can go to triple AAA over by Walmart and they can help you get it taken care of as long as it's not expired you just have to transfer states
Yes it's online!...you should expect to spend at least an hour there!
If you're a resident here now, then yes
Not sure yet, I can try to get you an answer today.
Not sure what the deal is, but any title work has to be done in person, figure 2 hr wait. Also, lapsed registration (not renewed in time) seems to require new plates, though might just be for my vet plates because of the cemetary fee.
Yes
Right??
I believe so
Yes. I just went in last Wednesday and got it done in 15min. You grab a ticket. Wait outside and go in when it's your number. Same day (flathead valley kalispell location)
Its an endorsement on any license, not its own license.
You take the signed and notarized title into the dmv or a signed and notarized bill of sale (you can download one off of the dmv website) to the dmv and they will do the rest be prepared to wait awhile though
You go to the licensing building. Why would you call a number to get a license? There's one in eureka or Kalispell
Sorry I can not help with that t question.
The patients primary care physician has the required paperwork, can fill it out and fax it to Helena. Call the provider and ask them to do this
Need to get plates for my car how do I do
I would call the DMV and ask direct. But you also have the option to do a voluntary surrender with the finance company. That way you would not have to register it.
On the website for 5 bucks I think
Do have the title in hand just go up there pulling number and expect to be there for two or three hours. If you got it from a dealer it'll be several weeks usually before your paperwork is up there and you're able to go license it they should have given you a 40-day sticker at the dealership
depends on your homeowners associationif you don't have one then I'd say talk to the Flathead Courthouse and they should be able to direct you to someone who knows that information
I think you have to physically go there for a title. You can't just send in a title transfer or get a new one. But that should all be answered on this website. https://dojmt.gov/driving/vehicle-title-and-registration/
First come first served. Have to pick a number
No
As far as I'm aware, licenses are issued at a state level and therefore as long as you are going to a dmv in Montana you should have no issues. I am by no means an expert on the subject and should be taken as such.
Yes
Last time I paid like $40
If you have a marriage license that might work to show proof of name change. I had to do that for my driver's license because my birth certificate has my maiden name and my social security card has my married name
Between 200 and 275. Perm plates
You can do either.
I don't believe you are able to make an appointment at this location. It's the "take a number" system. It helps to have all necessary documents organized and forms filled out beforehand. It makes the process a lot easier.
