Hi There. I'm going to be visiting from New Zealand, and have recently had to go gluten, dairy and egg yolk free (ugh, I know. ) Are there products such as chia seeds, lactose free milk etc at Vons?

Yes, they have all those. A limited variety compared to specialty "health stores" but prices are reasonable. You would be best to stop at customer service for specific places to look in the store. Milks are all together, but Chia seeds are in a few locations, produce aisle, as well as rice, or specialty aisles. ASK, they are usually pretty helpful. Enjoy!!

Yes, all are available. In fact I switched to lactose feee milk due to shopping at Vons.

Hi ... l shop this store as primary food source ... oh yes this store has many organic and gluten free products. .. l don't use gluten free foods but the organic produce and nuts and fruits are divine in the store ... plus download the Vons app to get awesome discounts and register to get more money saving God saving beautiful foods ...

Vons has many alternatives to those with allergens or just simply vegan. Long Beach also has many vegan alternatives that my be helpful.

I believe so. I wasn't looking for those specialty products in particular, but they had quite a variety of other health and specialty foods.

Excellent. Thanks Lads. Coming from NZ, I'm REALLY missing all the amazing dairy products we have, but it's a new diagnosis so have enjoyed oodles of great food!! Yeah Sean, I won't have a car for the 2weeks, will be staying at The Westin in Long Beach, so stores,cafes, and restaurants within walking distance will be my friends. Ha!!
