What if the on screen is saying no key does it mean you need a new fob or replace the battery in it, reply back please

I had this happen on my 2014 q50. Prior to battery change, touch thr fob to the start button. It should revognize it. Then drive over and get a cr2032 battery. You tube has videos for nissan and infinity battery replacement for thr fob.

I would say you need the FOB in a closer proximity. There is also an indicator when the battery is low. You probably need battery number 2032. They carry them at the auto section at Walmart in the checkout area.

Definitely replace the battery in the key fob. You do not need to have the dealer do this. The fob comes apart easily and you can get the battery at many places such as Walgreens or Walmart. The owner's manual has instructions.
