I'm not sure of what you mean order a prime rib ? If your asking can you asked them to cut you one to a specific size that would depend if they haven't already cut up there order

I found one just before Christmas.
They can special order it at anytime. Usually they just carry meats like that on special occasions( holidays,etc). Hope that helps bud.
They have them during the Holidays and you can also ask them to order it for you.
They had them over holiday also you can ask butcher to order you one
