Safety glasses are 1 of the required PPE. They have a 2,2,3 schedule and you work 12 hours a day. Steel toe shoes, jeans. No shorts or capris.
Its 630 to 7 12 hours with an unpaid lunch no rotating shifts, Jean's or khakis and steel toes, the company gives a 120.00 allowance through the company they contract with per year for the steel toes and you'll get a uniform allowance for shirts also
Thanks for the info. I do have a follow up question to the info. you provided. If it’s not both shifts at any point (days for a certain period of time, then nights, then back to days — I’ve seen some Domtar info that says you change between day/night shifts approx 6 times a year?), are you hired and do you start on the shift they are going to put you on or do you start, for example, on days until you’re trained or acclimated or whatever and then get moved to the opposite shift permanently? Or do they let you choose which shift you prefer?
Please out of that the company needs a team leader who knows exactly what is leadership.according to the shift , I like day shift. Thank you
