On the rule board it says no dog toys allowed. So I am unable to bring even a ball to throw for my dog to catch?

Technically speaking, no you cant bring anything. People do all the time, like others have said its really just important to be aware of the other dogs there - I've seen plenty play nicely together chasing the ball so no big deal, but sometimes there are other dogs there that get possessive, especially when its really crowded. Just be observant and know that there are times you may have to put it away to keep the peace.

I wouldn't, personally, but just watch the mood of the group that's there on any given day.

You can bring a ball. There are a bunch of tennis balls there that others have left behind. I think they mean like pull toys your dog or others may become possessive over. They would like everyone to understand this could avoid dogs becoming aggressive. I'd bring it.

You’re not supposed to bring balls and I would encourage you not too. There are a lot of dogs that’s play great with dogs but can react negatively when it comes to toys. I’ve seen people have to leave when toys come out because some dogs have toy aggression and we shouldn’t make those dogs feel uncomfortable if it’s not neccissary

They post it for safety because some dogs are toy agressive, but as long as everyone is getting along you can throw a toy. I go here quite often and these are dog people. If dogs gets bad pull the toy.

Get a feel for the dogs around you. I've found that it's best not to simply because dogs get possessive/aggressive. More often than not it's just not a good time. It's also a safety thing if dogs do get possessive/aggressive.

I don't believe they want any toy (ball included) at the park. I was told it was because it would distract so many other dogs.

I see people tossing balls all the time
