This is in response to DennisGray 1975 minivan. Just an FYI there are no surge rates for Uber or Lyft from the airport. Your agenda is to push overpriced cab rides that usually cost the customer double that of uber or lyft. I have personally experienced you so called baragain rates and believe me uber and lyft provide better rates, cleaner cars, and nicer drivers. I am going to address your comments about getting on Kessler or NCBC. You are right, uber and lyft drivers unless sponsored on either facility must drop at the front gate. In my case, I am a service member and I don’t mind considering the money I am saving by not taking your cab! Also, I find it amazing that cab drivers can drive on post with NO BACKGROUND CHECK. Every Uber and Lyft driver must pass a background check. I am suspecting you are a cab driver trying to undermine the lyft and uber drivers. Sir, you need remember cabs no longer have the monopoly and it’s all about free trade.

I really wish that Uber and Lyft were more Announced to the riders at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport! Such as signage information installed inside the airport and also at the starter desk allowing riders to know they do have a choice and NOT just cabs! Fairs are different to ALL locations which is understood by the rider when they choose their ride. BUT at least the rider sees the price of the Uber an Lyft Ride when booking! So, this being said, I hope that in the Future more Riders will have the ability to realize they do have a choice. And sometimes at the airport your signal gets scrambled do to being inside the building because just like at the Casino the concrete will Block your signal!
