I saw my primary doctor today for severe back and stomach pain..he thought i might have a kidney stone so he sent me directly to.the ER. I was in extreme pain when i arrived. Everyone was so nolice and helful. Jeffrey who got me set up in my room, Kailkyn my nurse, Kyler the ER tech and Dr Funk. After lab work and numerous tests and IV meds my pain went.from a 8-9 down yo a.4. Thank you to all of them for helping me, keeping me informed constantly about what tests were being run and for the eplaining in detail.my diagnosia. Highly recomend thia ER.

If I could give 10 stars I would after going to another local hospital where they did not care I came here to the Emergency Room. First it was very clean and the staff was caring and Professional from start to finish. The entire staff in the Emergency Room acted concerned and caring. My Dr/NP Michael checked on me throughout my visit and the nurse Laura was very attentive. I hope these people are recognized for the excellence in the care they give to others. Thank You.

Garden Park, along with Memorial Hospital, have implemented a policy now to reduce the misuse of the ER department for visits deemed non-emergent. This is due to the high volume of patients that "abuse" the ER and their services for non-life threatening visits that can be taken care of at a walk-in clinic or certain urgent cares. Garden Park, unlike Memorial Hospital, is a privately owned and operated, in which case they can refuse, deny, and/or even charge a patient with no insurance services, and if they feel like they are being seen for something non-emergent then they can also charge you to pay up front for services/part of the visit.
