No. It's more like sightseeing and exploring the coastline. Picnics okay too. The beach is fantastic. It's also family and dog friendly.

Mr. Yuen is correct. You can throw a ball on the beach but it is not wide enough for a game. The park's purpose is preservation and enjoyment of nature, not organized recreation.
