I would have immediately said no. But have only been to camping, bathing and picnic area for years. It is absolutely no there, has been for many years. If there are other areas, where dogs are allowed, i have not been there. Chris Saccardi seems to have good information.

Yes, but not everywhere. Here are details: Dogs only. Access in certain areas of the park only, on a leash not more than 6 feet: north of Montauk Parkway, East of Napeague Harbor and west of overlook parking. Not allowed in camping, bathing and picnic areas. Not allowed in buildings or on walkways. .
