A beginner should start with a full size .22lr. Then as they get more comfortable handling the handgun, progress up to a full size 9mm or 380. Before moving onto try different sizes, the beginner should stay with the full size until they are absolutely comfortable handling a handgun. For beginners, the full size handguns will be much easier to use.
Probably a .380, it's light and not too much kick back
A BB gun.
They have many different sizes and calibers of handguns and pistol caliber carbines. Beginners are encouraged to start with a 22lr. Least amount of recoil and its the cheapest ammo.
