The Venue Manager Cynthia and employee Jackson lack integrity and character! I supported this venue by reserving for my mom's 80th birthday and Jackson was given gratuity from my husband only for me to be let down when their support was needed to help in a serious matter that they both witnessed! The event planner/decorator, no connection to venue, was a scam artist who I took to Arbitration and requested only a statement from Cynthia the manager who agreed then after given the run around she deflected over to Jackson an employee who also gave me the round around. Had I known these individuals who represent the Willie A. Watkins Special Events Center lacked integrity, morals, and character, I certainly would not have used their venue! Thankfully the result of the Arbitration was ruled in my favor without the support of these despicable individuals.

This is an beautiful elegant venue. Extremely clean. The service from staff Ms Cynthia is Aplus. Shes extremely knowledgeable and very tentative to our needs. Making sure that we had everything needed. Ms. Cynthia is the BEST!! I will definitely use this venue again and will highly recommend to family and friends.
