It would be better if you hung it away from where other birds feed however, ask the experts at Wild Birds Unlimited....they're really smart and know their birds!
You can hang a hummingbird feeder with your other feeders. At our house, we hang finch feeders and hummingbird feeders from the same pole. They like the same habitat and the Goldfinches like to drink from the ant mote on the top of the hummingbird feeder.- Kathy from Wild Birds Unlimited in Hockessin DE
