I myself wouldn't recommend taking small children, its a vertical open air pit of 143' so caution has to be given. You can go into the cave and view the pit but agian it's still roughly 40' from the floor.
No children. If you're not a fit hiker you will struggle. If you have weak ankles or wrists I also dont recommend going. Take hiking poles and helmets and head lamps. You also need a permit from the owner so your car isn't towed. It's a total of 4 hours in and out, minus checking out the cave. The hills are very very loose dirt and mostly mud and it's all a vertical climb to the cave. 4 people have died.
