I prefer the Crowne Plaza. Its decor is much nicer and fancier. Plus, the Ruth Chris is a fabulous spot for a romantic dinner!!
Top Choice would be the Hyatt Regency downtown Greenville. And older Hotel would be the Westin Poinsett downtown Greenville. Also the Marriott Courtyard Downtown Greenville. Or the Embassy Suites downtown Greenville. All excellent choices but the Hyatt is best. Out of the two you have chosen them around plazas definitely the best. Ruth's Chris is a great restaurant and is also in the Embassy Suites on the river in downtown Greenville.
The Crown Plaza is really nice .
Hyatt, there is another Ruth's Chris across the street from it and it's way better than the one on congaree
