2 stars due to the fact that our waitress seemed to be having an off night. Our order was wrong, not once but 3 times. Then, we placed an order to go; asked 3 different times for a box to get a salad, never got it. I was very very disappointed, especially after spending $200+. I will return to the Peddler and hopefully be able to adjust my rating.

We visited 10/14 to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Over our 20 year marriage The Peddler has been our “special occasion” place - our place we knew would always be wonderful. We live in Laurens and the 50 minute drive has always been worth it until tonight. Well this experience was terrible and we will likely never come back. 1) we arrived @ 5:30 and had to wait 20 minutes even though the restaurant was practically empty (at the time). 2) salad bar (which used to be my favorite part) has become mediocre with brown lettuce in the mixed green and tomato bowl. 3) table rolls were cold and very hard 4) we all ordered NY Strip - medium well. The steaks were all medium rare, fatty, tough with little taste. 5) my husband and son both got fries and they were good and I ordered a baked potato - it was COLD. 6) dessert was ok, but nothing spectacular. In closing, we’ll save our time and money next time and just go to Texas Roadhouse because to be honest Texas Roadhouse would have provided a MUCH better meal.

The steak was decent but not as good as it usually is. We each got a ribeye and a baked potato, water, and a diet coke. We spent $80. Service was great and friendly.

Yes. I would say people dress to their occasion. I've seen everything from shorts to blazers when there.

They don't take reservations, when you get there you put your name on a waiting list. They have a waiting area or you can go in their NICE bar and wait. Its worth the wait.

Pretty much like everywhere else, you wear a mask in and take it off once you are seated, seating is spaced out. The wait staff and servers wear masks and normal cleaning protocols in place.

They used to do free entrees for veterans. Last I heard it was 40% off but I would call and talk to a manager, things have changed a lot in recent years.

I have eaten there a couple of times. took my wife for her 50th birthday. And as always every thing was great. Everything is local grown. The meat is local grown. The Rib eyes are cut right in front of you the thickness you want. The best food anywhere

On the weekends it's a good idea to call ahead. Weeknights the wait isn't usually very long.
The bar is open before 6pm,but the people that are there waiting for dinner on the waiting list will fill up the waiting area and the bar quickly. To get a seat in the bar I would get there around 5pm, and if you have a big group get there even earlier. Hope this helps and enjoy...
Yes there is a kids menu! A printed one should be given at the time you are seated, however if one is not provided, ask your server & they will get you one! 😉😉
