You do not have to stand in line if you dont need a receipt. There's a box general labeled by the back door. Time to time a woman will come outside ask who's dropping off tags and will walk you to the front of the line to form a much shorter line. This has at least been my experience with them.

Yes u have to turn in tag and u can probably call ur insurance company to cancel insurance
